Bird Girl Dating Sim: Could even birds fall in love?
Tests, homework, and clubs are already hard enough to manage, but what if your first crush in high school was..........a bird?? Meet five cute girls who are not only your classmates, but also lead some quirky, feathery daily lives. From packing worms in your lunch box to eyeing up your shiny personal belongings, these cuties are as much bird as they are girl. Can you understand the feelings of bird girls well enough to see past the species difference and start something more?
Gameplay: This game is a visual novel made in Ren'py >:] You can advance through dialogue with the mouse or by pressing enter. A basic English reading ability as well as proficient communication skills in bird calls are needed to enjoy this game.
Due to the time constraints of the Jam, this game is treated as a demo. Only Monday is playable. There is currently also no soundtrack. We plan to continue the game after the Jam period finishes, so we hope you look forward to it!

Although short, I quite like this! Cute art style and I enjoyed each of the characters a lot. After going back through I think I have exhausted all the dialogue options and my thoughts so far as such.
“… but the fans should read the novels and manga more. It really expands the world a lot and makes the series a lot more interesting.” This little spot from Tokiko was hilarious to me, I wonder what franchise it is she is talking about?
My favourite girls so far are probably Mysti and Hatate. I’m already biased towards Mystia after playing Izakaya but I liked her personality here and felt awful making her cry. Hatate’s art is probably my favourite of all the girls. It really shows off her personality and I can’t wait to see more of her in new updates.
Now I only have two complaints about the game itself.
When Mysti asks us if someone caught our interest, the options list the characters names. For Okuu and Kutaka this makes sense as they have already told us their names, but Hatate and Tokiko’s names should still be unknown to us. Perhaps for those two the options should be descriptions rather than their names? The textbox and the image box overlap, resulting in the top of the text box having the shadow come down slightly further in the center.
Overall this game is adorable so far and I love it. All the characters are so cute and I want to see more of them already. <3
